Rand Paul, flying under the radar after pretty much dooming his campaign by signing Tom Cotton's ignorant letter and then fighting Obama's Iran nuke deal (his Dad publicly admitted both were really-really dumb ideas) had a surprisingly good evening at last nights' GOP debate.

He scored one good blow by schooling Donald Trump that contrary to his ignorance, China isn't a part of the TPP deal.

And he clocked Marco Rubio as a BIG GOVERNMENT spender.

Not sure it'll do Paul much good, but those black eyes against two of the supposed front-runners could have some lasting damage with voters.

UPDATE:

Looks like some mainstreamers noticed too.

Ah, of course, because if a story has legs for more than 8 months, it's an important story. Just like Obama's birth certificate, right?

Upset? No, just annoyed at your Winger-like arguments. Who cares about facts when you've got things like "a story has legs for 8 months, it MUST be true!"

Oh fuck off, they're obviously minorities but that doesn't mean they support the rights of a completely different group of minorities nor does it even mean they support the rights of their own minority group. Shocking news: Brown people aren't all exactly the same. Regardless, the fact is that if you look at Rubio and Cruz positions, they both have been opponents of immigration reform, so yeah, I'd say they don't care about minority rights in comparison to the democrats.

Carson's foundation? You mean his Scholars Fund? What do they have to do with minorities? They don't specialise on helping minorities, so for all we know they could be awarding 99% of those to white kids. And what "other endeavours" are you talking about? Seems like you're clutching at straws to me.

I didn't say she doesn't care about women, I said she doesn't care about women's rights. Don't put words into my mouth. And regardless of her philanthropic work, attacking Planned Parenthood tells everyone exactly where she's aligned.
