    @MajorRage pop over the Kaimais to Matamata and I'll shout you a round at our golf club. It's in tremendous nick at the moment.

    @Hooroo El Presidente!

    Which roughly translates to 'Volunteer who is accountable'

    I just had a great trip up north, if you can avoid the traffic (NZers all seem to travel on the same day time, so plan around that!) it's well worth the trip

    How far up did you go? I had never been to Paihia and went there to play Kauri Cliffs a few weeks ago. What a cool little town. Some great eating and drinking establishments too.

    @Hooroo it was about 20 or so years ago I played there, back when I was meant to be good...

    We have some great courses up this way, if you ever need any suggestions, let me know, I've played most of them (but not Kauri Cliffs haha)

    To the tippy top, hit all the spots you’d expect. Sand dunes were awesome

    @taniwharugby thread hijack: what's the weather like in mid to late October? Planning on doing about a week up around Northland next year to show Bonesetta around.

    @Bones been superb this year...3 or 4 days of insane rain otherwise rainfall lowest in years, warm temps.

    October is usually ok though but as above, can also be shite.
