So... they've both drawn barrier 4 in their races, and both inside their main rivals. Couldn't have asked for much more - now it's just a case of whether they're good enough.
I've highlighted our horses and circled in red the numbers of the main threats:

Both can place and NYN can definitely win...that said, with Some Do at 21s, you'd be crazy not to have a nibble. The TAB Form tipster & commentator Aaron White has them both as his second selection in each race.

I hope you're sickly hungover on Sunday due to it going so well on Saturday! Where are you staying? Have you been to Alexandra park in the past few years? Without any hesitation, I would say it is the best race facility in NZ in terms of restaurants/booze/tab set up/pokies etc.

My mate is an evil accountant/tax manager so naturally we're staying at the Pullman (happy to stump up after last week though). I've been to Alex Park about 3 years ago - it is as professional as it comes in NZ. Unfortunately we were a bit late in the piece to book a table.
