Our plan is to win by scoring fewer runs than Friday night.

CdG reverting to genuine Village again.

Not sure how long they'll persist with CdG at 4.

It's got an element of wishful thinking - i.e. it would be great if it came off, but I'm not sure it will regularly enough.

He's not really a hit from ball one type of player so it might make sense to have him a bit higher. Having said that, Taylor should definitely bat ahead of him.

Sunil Gavaskar - NZ will be looking to take early wickets.
Me - "who the hell will take the wickets?"

We have no genuine wicket takers. Like none, in this third grade attack.

    Edit - fuck you Southee...

    He was watching the Sevens.
    Thank christ.

Can’t believe I forgot to watch both finals, I checked what time they were on too right before the cricket.

    How’d we go?

    Better than the Black Caps...

Ok will do, though I doubt anyone is avoiding hearing the 7s results so they can watch replays of it later...

You've got to hope that the pitch is a bit trickier to bat on tonight - given that we didn't actually collapse - we just couldn't score quickly.

Sodhi is a consistently below average fielder. He has so much potential, but his overall game seems quite up and down.

@Donsteppa Yeah - without wanting to pick on our Indians in the teams - him and Jeet are the worst.

I reckon Little Kane isn't the greatest either.

Must take catch goes up, you want Guppy or Timmy catching it.

Timmy gets the strangle on Virat!

Vague glimmer of hope especially given Iyer was hobbling around the outfield!

Much better start from Satnav - runs wise anyway.

Our worm is ahead - need more quick wickets to keep it there.

Pitch must be a fair bit different to the other night.

India 60/2 after 10 where we were 73/2 after 10.

Nobody smashing it - so far.... 🙂

    @Donsteppa Not enough wickets.

The Indians know they'll get these if they've got proper batsmen at the crease.

That's why it was just a glimmer 🙂
