Help Us Decipher This Terrifying Video Of A Suicide Drone Flying Up An Armored Vehicle's Ramp (Updated)

Help Us Decipher This Terrifying Video Of A Suicide Drone Flying Up An Armored Vehicle's Ramp (Updated)

The dramatic video may serve as yet another warning of America's glaring short-range air defense gap and the threat that low-end enemy drones pose.

That's low level success rate. But drones firing shaped charges would be a nightmare. Cheap, almost undetectable.

Psychological effect would be huge though

And another valuable load of, ah, "bananas" leaves South America. Didn't appear to have any reg markings, either. I'm sure they just forgot.

None of any of that is suspicious at all.

@Bovidae More than likely, but hard to know for sure, as I really doubt that he filed a flight plan.

learnt a new plane related word today: Snarge

The residue smeared on an airplane after a bird/plane collision.
    Additional Information
The DNA test on the snarge showed it was a pigeon.

Apparently is military slang and not an official word

Maybe Kiwi slang then, I like it.

I also like SPLOF, the white condensate clouds you get when pulling G at low level. Another word that sounds right!

Yeah man. They used to do them at most Air Shows/Open days.

I believe we were the first to do the Plugged Barrell roll (But I may be incorrect)

Unfortunately we lost a really good pilot and good guy too in a practise session. Name escapes me right now

Do you have the book about our a4s ? There’s a bit in there about the only time they fired a shot in anger . It was in the path of a boat that that had been spotted illegally fishing in NZ waters . Boat wasn’t hit, no one was hurt but the story got exaggerated in the retelling overseas until the story became NZ Air Force sinks fleeing illegal fishing vessel which discouraged poaching for quite a while.

Ha no, I don't but have heard that story. It was supposed to be over the bow if I remember correctly and the pilot "Accidently" hit the boat.
