Ffs . I hope they don't end up with any of this stuff.

According to the Australian Government Department of Health, mumps is caused by the mumps virus and spread through contact with an infected person.

It can lead to inflammation of the brain (encephalitis), inflammation of the lining of the brain and spinal cord (meningitis), inflammation of the heart (myocarditis) and infertility.

"About 1 in 200 children with mumps will develop brain inflammation, which can be very serious. Mumps can also damage nerves, which can lead to deafness," the Department of Health website says.

"For women in the first three months of pregnancy, mumps can cause miscarriage."

Don’t panic, surely everyone was smart enough to vaccinate their kids? You get the mumps vacc as one of the M’s in MMR along with measles.
    Surely?

Will the game isn't likely be called off? As a Chiefs fan I'd only want them to face the Brumbies' best side so there's no excuses.

The affected players are fringe squad players, not likely to be named in a 23 anyway. The Brumbies will be at full strength.

    Brumbies
Tom Banks, Solomone Kata, Tevita Kuridrani, Irae Simone, Andy Muirhead, Noah Lolesio, Joe Powell, Pete Samu, Will Miller, Rob Valetini, Murray Douglas, Cadeyrn Neville, Allan Alaalatoa (c), Connal McInerney, James Slipper

Reserves: Lachlan Lonergan, Scott Sio, Tom Ross, Nick Frost, Lachlan McCaffrey, Ryan Lonergan, Bayley Kuenzle, Toni Pulu

    Not that many changes

Winger Tom Wright (illness), hooker Folau Fainga’a (toe) and centre Len Ikitau drop out and are replaced by Andy Muirhead, Connal McInerney and Irae Simone respectively.

Simone has overcome his bout of mumps to regain his place in the side.

The Chiefs are going to be tested upfront, especially in the rolling mauls, and I hope Slater will throw adequately. But this lineup has too much firepower for the Brumbies.
    Chiefs by +15 or more.

Brumbies have only had one try scoring option for a few seasons now. Have to concede that they do it well and I would hope Gats has some tricks up his sleeve.
No penalties in your half please Chiefs.

Good of the Crusaders to develop him for the Brumbies and Australia.

    Lolosio, love it.

Gets tackled, places ball, gets halfway up ready to grab the ball and go again, looks up and sees Jacobson. Lies back down.
