    @Duluth I think Sotutu has that front spot for the young 8s. Papalii warming into the game.

    Amazing how well the Blues are starting to play now they have developed some confidence in themselves and their processes.

    @antipodean plus players being given chances to build combos rather than previous years chop and change for the sake of it

    @taniwharugby

    I think there have been plenty of changes. Think of the loosies last year. The team is more organised

    @Duluth but there seems there has been more of a plan around changes as opposed to just changing week in week out despite form.

    I think it’s just people don’t complain about changes when the team is winning

    Walsh and Renata have struggled at scrum time.

    disappointing final 15, but the Blues had done the job already, and presently sit atop of the table.

    @taniwharugby I was impressed with our attitude on defence personally. Good to see us not let in easy tries at the end.

    It's funny how one penalty kick from Otere Black on the bell against the Bulls can do confidence wise. If he missed then we'd probably be in our usual spot of 12th. or something. Better enjoy this rich vein of form while it lasts haha, you never know when it could turn to custard for us again.

    @African-Monkey oh yeah the defence was great, especially on thier line, but was more they had the opportunity to really put them to the sword and didnt/couldnt take it, but I guess this team is still realising it's potential...nek minut no more games.

    @taniwharugby Oh yeah I get your point, but I'll take a 43-10 win any day of the week even if we could have put more on them. I guess it won't matter as it looks like the season will be called off haha.

    Back from the game, and absolutely stoked with the team, and for the team and wider coaching group. These boys look fantastic; it's been a long time coming, but they are finally starting to play some proper rugby. What's really noticeable is the rugby nous - they've stiffened the defence and make good decisions consistently. Not perfect, and a lot of work to do, but an absolute pleasure to watch.

    Fun to watch, left about six trys out there that on another day we could have scored.

    Most pleasing thing for me is the tackles around the legs dropping people, felt like hardly any were missed.
