+1 for Meermin. I have a MTO museum calf cap toe oxford. Lovely shoe for the price.

With shoes I pretty much stick to Aquila and Florsheim for boots, loafers etc.

@mariner4life why the hell did you ask her?! Of course she would whinge. She doesn't need to look like a super model, you should have just made a sensible choice, nothing over the top, softly softly...
    Useless.

Three packages just arrived this morning. One for me and two swiftly hidden away / unpacked by Mrs Shark. And mine already presents a size issue....fucking Superdry.

That's why I like Uniqlo t-shirts. Cheap, good quality and they fit.

    Should have known better.

I swear that Superdry make their patterns on reject sewing dummies with mis-matched parts.

That said, I have a pair of chinos from them that are the best fit on me ever. I took 6 different pairs into the changing room with me, all supposedly just different fabrics and only one fit well.

Would seriously avoid buying anything online from them. You need to be in a big store with all the options available and time on your hands.

I think there's some Clarins eye cream and I'm yet to discover the other's contents. But clothing though as it was a soft bag. Meanwhile, the CK sports undies I bought have been rejected and can't be returned so have gone on trademe. It's a bad week for online purchase success.

@Crucial Sleeve length is great. Width is good. But I think they've made this item specifically for little fucking teapots - short and stout!

I've got several pairs of Superdry chino shorts. Great fit, great colours and durable. And their 'windtrekker' jackets are good. But their tees and l/s tees can fuck off.

The missus and I pretty much buy all of our clothes at Uniqlo, and their discount brand store GU (not that Uniqlo is pretty cheap to begin with).

Great range unless you are Ardie size or bigger, and surprisingly really good quality - all the stuff we have got has lasted well.

As there is not a store in NZ, we are reduced to buying from Japan, then getting a shipping forwarding company to send them on, which adds a bit to the price, especially since they now charge GST as well as the shipping cost. Still way cheaper than similar clothes in NZ. Everything from casual and sports wear, through to business attire (suits, shirts, ties)

Dangerously enough, they have brand new stock released every Monday for both stores, but they cycle through stuff pretty quickly, so after 6-8 weeks most stock is gone.

I've got 180 t-shirts, most of them from those stores. Plus 4 really nice suits - a couple of Seersucker ones to wear in Napier's hot months, and wool ones for winter. Those cost me under $150 NZD each. Actually, have a couple of corduroy suits too, cause I am old enough to pull that off...

For sports wear, they have the same items that Roger Federer and Adam Scott wear, which I have found great for tennis/table tennis/running.

Most importantly of all, it is the only place where I can find the toe-socks that I love

As the websites are in Japanese, you need to have Chrome translate the pages for you

I hate toe anythings - fucking creepy.

I guess now that I've entered this thread I may as well post my shopping habits.

I buy printed t shirts online (usually pop culture type ones), when I need shorts and jeans I just go into a store and buy a new pair when they wear out, I bought an expensive suit and wore it about 10 times (it's still fine now, bit I was over 20kg bigger when I bought it, so I have to wait for baggy to come back into fashion) so that was a waste, can't wear uniqlo because as I'm vertically challenged I'm supposed to be as stick thin as a Japanese dude, hate shopping either online or in person.
