Blues will go to any length to avoid another loss
Cindy is from Hamilton, so just punishing everyone for the Chiefs.
Morrinsville
"Born: 26 July 1980 (age 40 years), Hamilton"
Hamilton hospital maybe? Raised Morrinsville?
Either way she is shutting down rugby because the Chiefs are shit and we all have to suffer (and my point therefore stands). -

God, could you imagine if the Highlanders hadn't shot themselves in the foot last weekend?
The comp would have been called off without a winner, with three sets of fans fighting over who were nailed on to win in the last week.
On the positive side, the trophy wold have remained in decent shape

Yeah, at least the comp was decided before the last round looks likely to be ruined.

Well for one fan, Super Rugby would not have been ruined had the above scenario played out.
But fortunately for this fan, Super Rugby was ruined last week

RIP
Can't they just play in an empty stadium?
No, Level 3 essential businesses only, social distancing at work, max gathering 10.
Rugby teams are 15 each for a start! They can't even train ATM.
I addition no one is allowed in or out of AKL, so I guess the Blues could play themselves 5v 5?
-
How the fuck is rugby not essential?

It is but they can only play socially distanced in the workplace (2m ideally, 1m min). So that means only the Chiefs defence qualify to play under Level 3
