Busy couple of weeks. Hit the gym all week days in the am as per usual.

Plenty of riding in there too with a few days out at woodhill and then some (fairly average) south auckland trails yesterday. Oh and even a run last week. First for a while so more of a jog than anything

Hmmm well fark me what are we gonna do.

Just felt like things were on the up with the training and fitness wise. Was eating well and even putting on weight which I believed to be muscle.

No gym past two days but 2 x short rides on the MTB but looking for jumps and drops more than testing the fitness. Will be picking up some weights from the gym if we go to level 4 or are staying at 3 for some time. Not sure what I will grab yet, probably a couple of sets of DBs and an EZ bar.

@JK I hear you. I was in chasing gains today and thinking about a weekend mission if possible. Still crazy expensive to try and pick up weights at the moment, second-hand or new. Primo you can borrow some gear. Get some heavish KBs and you can do some decent front squats, plus a bunch of other stuff.

Chur on the muscle mass increase! that shit needs to be recognised πŸ‘Š

So yesterday no workout, just a short ride round the streets with miss 8.

This morning the wife was teaching pilates (online) so was up at 6am and I followed and did a garage workout.

Entry was 100 star jumps (geeez I forgot how they can fark up the old calves!)

    Then rounds of

    BB overhead press - 30kg x 10
    BB row - 30kg x 10
    Pressups - 10 reps
    Squats - 10 reps
BB curls (of farken course) - 30kg x 10 reps
    Star jumps - 20 reps

Did 10 rounds with 30 sec rest between rounds then exited via another 100 starjumps (so last round was 100 rather than 20)

Yeah we’re both in good nick but some of those stairs are brutal. Plus being quite competitive we took delight in walking past everyone else on the trail....and paid the next day...

Did fuck all yesterday, too busy with work plus too wet out yada yada.

Anyway, another garage blast this morning. Seemed hard, too hard.

    • Front raise in to side raise and vice versas (dunno what actually called) - 5kg plate in each hand and 10 full motions
    • KB squats - 20x24kg
    • 10 more of those front to side raise things
    • KB swings - 20x24kg
    • DB renegade row pushups -10kg and 10 per side
    • Db curls - 10 x 10kg then in to hammer curls for another 10x10kg

    Rest

Only did 4 rounds either as wasnt feeling or actually farken hard.

ooh there are some sick and evil KB medleys out there bro. I quite like single KB squats where you load it on one side then alternate. So like do 5 on each side then move to swings or clean and jerks. 3-4 variations in the medley is enough to remember and enough to take you to dark places lol.

Another quick workout this morning. Went a bit better

    Did rounds of:

    BB cleans - 15 x 40kg
Pushup mountain climbers - 20 reps (not actually sure what these are called but did them slower and wide so knees come up outside shoulder line)
    Froq squats - 20 reps
    KB side bends - 15 per side x 20kg
High knees - 20 per side

6 times through and then some DB and BB curls cuz friday
