2 - Whitcombe (20,5) Sloane (146, 1)

4 - Ian Jones (66, 79)
5 - Glenn Taylor (143, 1)
6 - Norm Maxwell (38, 36)
7 - Gus Collins (114, 0)
8 - Peter Jones (79, 37)
9 - Sid Going (110, 29)
10 - David Holwell (115, 0)
11 - Rupeni Caucau (21, 0)
12 - Johnny Smith (41, 4)
13 - Jack Goodhue (9, 14)

15 - Warren Johnstone (161, 0) Jared Payne (36, Ire 20) Norm Berryman (107*, 1)As above, I'd be inclined to play Taylor as the lock, and Maxwell at 6 to give a bit more grunt at scrumtime, I'd like Berryman in there too, but he'd have to go to push out Johnny Smith (and Goodhue to 12) or go to 15, so not sure he can start
Although is an argument Goodhue could go to Canterbury having played more for them than us...although thye'd probably just loan him out to Ta$man

*Honors board says Berryman played 107 times for Northland, but I found an article after he died stating 75...

Berryman on the wing, Ranger to 12 and Goodhue stays at 13?

No love for David Manako?
Played with him in U21s for Eden (Where I got made captain coz I spoke English as my first language). He joined us after the 1st XV comp finished. Can't remember which school he was at. But he was a contemporary of Willie O. (May not have been 100% qualified to stay in NZ ...)
Was a superstar for us.
Couple of years later I saw some Northland games on TB and he was cutting it up.
Yeah he was no Fred Woodman ... But...

#8, who do we put here? Could put Tuiali'i here, but Cantabs have more claim to him, but wont need him.

We need an 8, Mose Tuiali'i is an option for someone who played for the ABs and did play well in his season up here? Struggling to think of someone else, mind is blanked?
