Yeah but Zac contributed meaningfully in other ways. Such as to the underground Class A trade. And similarly, Ralph almost single-handedly kept STI clinics the province over humming, he was such a swordsman.

Caleb scored my mates wife before they were married. The thing that annoyed him most was she didn’t get with a ‘decent’ AB of the era. It always made watching Crusaders games with them bloody funny when his face came up.

The halfback for North Harbour Mark Robinson. (Sharky)
Had a quick pass, very strong and quick off the mark.

Random memories but can't remember the name.
A lock that played a few tests for NZ in the late late 90s.
Pretty big, blond spiky hair. High workrate.
Colin Meads commented he was still hitting rucks at the end of a game against Southland.
I think he played for Waikato.
Can't remember his name. (not Mark Cooksley)

Royce Willis. But the game evolved quickly shortly after his brief tenure.

I know EXACTLY how your mate feels, although thankfully it wasn't Caleb Ralph who shagged my wife before we met, but another Canterbury / Crusaders AB of dubious qualification. This made cheering for Canterbury in particular a little odd at times.

I bet it was Sam Broomhall

    @shark
    Cheers.
What was wrong with his style of play?
I can't remember why he was dropped.

    Ben Blair

he nabbed another ferners squeeze didnt he... 🤔

wasnt Royce Willis' debut in that season from hell? ONe of the bright spots in that season, thought he was the right guy to lead the physical fight with SA.

@taniwharugby Yeah Willis and Isitolo Maka both debuted in 1998. I think Willis debuted in a promising loss away to SA.

Indeed. He seemed just the right kind of brute to take on the big packs with Norm Maxwell as a perfect foil to him.

But who cares about all that.....@shark was it Andy Ellis ?

I was at a game at Eden Park where Isitolo Maka hit Olo Brown so hard that Olo had to be taken from the field.
Never been able to find footage of it.
