AD's buzzer beater was awesome today, though it will overshadow the Lakers completely shitting the bed in the last three minutes and giving up a nine point lead.

The Nuggets will probably lose this series, but man they have some ticker.

LBJs Lakers brutalising Denver in game 1. Jokic was in foul trouble early and never recovered after having to battle AD, McGee and Howard. Murray also in foul trouble early as well. LA got good contributions from many, including Rondo with 7 points 9 assists. The series is far from over, LA show how they plan to win out

They got a Chuck "GAH-RAN-TEE" of a sweep on TNT. I'm inclined to agree 🧹 Lakers just too good and everything coming together at once. I think having older guys helps, they can deal with the bubble better.

My theory on the bubble is that its making team chemistry even more important. The teams that actually like each other, rather than just show up for work each day, are thriving. So we see the young, fun teams like Miami, Celts, Denver and even Dallas though they lost KP then the series, all thrive, and teams like Houston and the Clips who are more business like and don't really want to be there, all fail.

Lakers the obvs ones who don't fit the age criteria, but i think Lebron has done an awesome job of bringing them all together, and they genuinely seem to like each other. Taco Toooooosdaaaay!!!!

    Anyone with me??!! 😀

I think this is spot on, sort of what I was getting at with the bubble impact but you expanded on it much better than me. You are so right the Clippers and Rockets they are just colleagues not friends!

@barbarian Almost threw the remote at the TV after seeing Plumlee’s D on that last play. Great shot for AD, but he had made one from that spot earlier in the game, so should’ve stayed at home for that inbounds pass.

LeBron made two turnovers, but that Nuggets team are so explosive and Jokic thought he'd stolen it. AD came up big late in the 4th and the last second dagger took that win away from Denver

Interesting, it looked to me like Plumlee called the switch way too early given Lebron wasn't setting a screen, but that video shows why.

Perhaps if Plumlee had stuck to AD like glue LeBron would've rolled to the basket for a lob/bounce, and backed himself to get ahead of / over Harrell?

Post game interviews they said the play was drawn up for LeBron but got changed on the fly when AD was open.

@TeWaio yeah, it definitely looks pre-planned on that vid. Unfortunate, as Lebron didn't really bother to screen so Plumlee could have easily stayed with AD.

Lebron didn’t even move. He didn’t even move forward to go for an offensive board. Just a poor read all round.

Skinny Joker did show some good reaction to guard inbound and then get to AD for a decent contest.

Thats the power of LeBron though. If you let him catch the inbounds he's taking it all the way to the rack. It was a bad read but it was a tough shot too

The now former OKC coach Billy Donovan is the new coach of the Chicago Bulls.

Good fit I think - a good development coach to get you to the playoffs but not a good coach once you have a title contender.

And the post-1998 rebuild continues (I know D Rose was good for 10 minutes....). Finally finished The Last Dance. Clearly Jordan did not take Reinsdorf at his word when he said he offered to bring Phil and the team back for another run

@canefan Bulls now have a highly regarded GM running things for the first time in a very long time. They are going to be an interesting follow.

Both the Lakers and Nuggets looked gassed. Nuggets just managed to hold it together enough to pull away. 20 point leads mean very little these days.

Nuggets were paying $39 to win the series yesterday and are now at $6.50. If it goes long I think the Lebron and AD won't be able to keep the effort up.

Go away? At 3-1 they've got one foot in the finals. Are they good enough to beat LeBron and AD though?

I was sure the Celtics talent was going to be enough.

    You've made my point.

Even at 2-1 down I think most expected the Celtics to win today and eventually win the series. Very unlikely now.

Watched the game, and man Tyler Herro had his coming out party. The kid has that edge and is a fantastic piece to complement Jimmy, Dragon and Robinson.

Celts small ball was exposed a little but they still had a chance to win.
