@Hooroo what season? I watched S1, wasnt a must watch, but was a decent watch.
I havent watched S2 though.
I see there is another Walking Dead spin off...World Beyond, which if was as the title indicated, might be worth a watch, but no isnt about the ZOmbie apocolypse in other places, is about kids growing up in the zombie world, in the US still

Finished Raised by Wolves.
Final ep was pretty good, probably one of the better eps in the series, although the whole thing with Mother was odd, thought CGI was average too.
But set up for s2, will need to pick up the pace a bit though.

Raised By Wolves final - yeah, good, but I think I was only half-watching, and don't really understand some of what happened at the very end. Maybe I'll rewatch.
The overall series - yeah, like I said earlier - sometimes it was a bit slow... but I think a lot of it was building tension/atmosphere. Perhaps just went overboard at times. But - generally - good.Schitt's Creek - like others, I kept seeing ads/references to it all over the place, and dismissed it as just another mediocre low-PG comedy. After you lot kept raving about it, I gave it a shot. Watched two entire seasons. I wish I'd trusted my original instincts. I got maybe two slight-chuckles from 2 seasons of mediocre safely-safely comedy. Fuck yas-all.
Ted Lasso - on the other hand. You fluffybunnies made up for that Schitt's Creek Shit with this. I'd never heard of it, watched it, loved it. Only good thing to come out of Apple, ever.
The Boys - as always, excellent. I thought the conclusion to the final showdown was a bit of a telegraphed cop-out, but when one's antagonist is literally an invincible "superman" - I guess it's always going to be. Of course, they made up for it with a great closing scene. Although where they're probably going for a zoom in on insane/piercing Homelander eyes, all I see is stoned-Van/dead-eyed-Jethro.

maybe I was only half watching too then, cos I was scratching my head as well
in regard to Schitts Creek, it is very samesy after a while, I'm almost done with S3 and think I might give it a break

Actually - I realised I'd deleted my copy of the finale, and couldn't be arsed waiting the 5 minutes or so to download another copy - so just searched for an online explanation.
And quickly found one that suggested most people were confused-as-fuck, so went ahead and gave some explanations, including some direct from the writer. It did make things rather more clear. -

Ha! Decided much the same after it starting with a hiss and a roar. It’s good fun but nothing I can’t leave for a few weeks here and there
-
@Kruse it was probably one of the better eps too!
I liked this bit I found online:
:::
This is a story about two androids raising young humans on a foreign planet in order to reboot the human race; it’s a story about the consequences of conflicting religious ideals; and it’s a story about an android having sex with a ghost in a machine and giving birth to a snake baby.

Finished Hunters (Amazon)
Was pretty good, seemed a bit of a mish-mash of styles, bit of Tarantino bit of others...
Slow burn for most of it, thought eps 9 & 10 were very good, the characters of Lonny, Travis & Harriet were very good...Jonah was annoying.
I just watched this, the mish-mash of styles completely took me by surprise. Ep 1 serious drama, Ep 2 Tarantino movie. I was a bit WTF. But after that it was all good as it balanced both styles.
Oddly enough I really disliked the character of Harriet, couldn't stop seeing Ted in Lonny and thought Jonah was ok, especially once he joined fully. Travis was a stock standard modern era TV evil bad guy, he played the role well but it wasn't anything I hadn't seen before.
I always just finished Narcos - Mexico. It was ok in that Narcos kind of way. Reading up about it was interesting in that there was a lot different - but that's to be expected.
Watch the first season of How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) which is a German show on Netflix. What's weird is whenever they text, or have anything written it's in English. Quite like it, but the two main characters, a nerdy teenage boy and his ex girlfriend are frikkin annoying, but that doesn't seem to matter other characters are intersting.
-
Back into Schitts Creek. If I have one gripe it’s the way they sort of set up a potential storyline only for it to be completely forgotten in a few scenes.
Other half has a habit of falling asleep on the couch when we watch, she doesn’t miss much in the way of pivotal scenes.
It’s still great fun but as others have said it’s not something you have to binge.

Just finished S4 of Billions.
Yeah still entertaining and worth watching, but just so silly now and seemingly removed from reality. Got too far up it's own arse.
:::
When they started seriously considering offers to "off" their enemies, I really lost interest

Yeah just the characters have gone too far extreme. You used to be able to believe people like Wags and Spiros could be people in real life, now they're just ridiculous. And everything has just got so grandiose.
Don't get me wrong, I'll still watch it because it's funny at times and entertaining...it's just lost it's drama.

started Ted Lasso a few days ago, 5 eps in, top show!!
Heartwarming, but not too cheesy about it with good humour, can see he would be good for the ABs
Rebecca looks very sexy in some of her scenes.
On looking her up on IMDB, this was her

Watching The Haunting of Hill House
Not really a big horror guy, but it's actually really good. The first episode is creepy. I like the way it's put together, with the two timeframes telling the story. It seems really well developed, and i am looking forward to how it plays out.
Apparently the 2nd (but unrelated) season is even better?
