@Hooroo remember when you could walk through the drive through at 3am?
That's a good point. Back in student days, there would have been no taxi being caught!

My house was on 6 Armagh st near Boys High so that was the mission back then. Plenty of times a small party would happen after town closed there. I don't remember the house ever being trashed either. I also don't know why my folks left the house to me either.

@mariner4life when I was 20 I was a shift supervisor at KFC and they used to open at 10am Friday morning through to 10pm Sunday night, if I did the midnight to 8am shift, I used to shut the restaurant at 2am (after we had cleaned it) and make all the pissed fluffybunnies walk through the drive through...otherwise said pissed fluffybunnies had food fights in the restaurant - potato and gravy on the walls/glass/floor

i didn't go that often for some reason, considering it was literally around the corner. Mainly after the preseason cricket games at Steele Park

Beefeaters is still open isn't it? They really did that awesome burger with beefeater sauce!
I think it is. The Denver burger used to be my go-to back in my student days.
You wouldn't catch me eating anything from Stu's pie cart.

IIRC he used to park in Ham East by Steele Park so I'm surprised @mariner4life didn't see it. If you saw what he looked like it wasn't a good advertisement for his food.
My mates and I drove up to Auckland for a burger at the White Lady on one occasion after a night on the beers.

That's the White House.
The White lady has just had an upgrade in the last couple of years.
I went out with @Duluth and his good lady to a whiskey bar (I can't drink spirits to save myself) a year or so ago and then to the White Lady after, I think. I woke in the morning to two of the biggest untouched burgers. Complete waste. Mrs Hooroo wasn't stoked with the state I came home in either!

The Jefferson - massive choice of Whisky's
That's the one. We spent a bit each there trying quite expensive ones if I hazily remember correctly
