Wasn't sure whether to post this in the "Awesome stuff you see on the internet" or this one.
This YouTube account has more "comparison" videos.
This is an article about this clip: https://interestingengineering.com/video/comparison-of-areas-needed-to-supply-different-foods -

CCTV footage of a Blackhole stealing someones Star!!
That is amazing.
The only thing ore powerful than a black hole, is the internet black hole I'm about to be sucked into looking all things black hole related. I'm no scientist, but having gotten to third year uni physics, I have a decent enough understanding of black holes and the maths / theories never cease to blow my mind wide open.

This is incredible. Heavy reading, but one sentence synopses is "a bacteria that photosynthesises from INFRARED LIGHT FROM A DEEP SEA HYDROTHERMAL VENT"

Yeah, I managed to read the one sentence synopsis - but bailed on the full article.
Reminds me of something I heard anecdotally years ago - didn't they discover some new bacteria in one of our geothermal plants - Ohaaki, maybe - which survived by eating concrete? They discovered it because the concrete chimneys of the plant were disintegrating, or something? -
Lost in the wilderness and need to find your way out? Why not watch a dog shit.
Pretty sure there are scientific articles confirming this too. Magnetism is voodoo (or @voodoo or something)
Edit: there we go, primary source! monitored nearly 2,000 poops, nearly 6,000 urinations:

@mariner4life mine starts parallel to whatever fence he's nearest at the time, I think. Then often wanders around in circles, mid job, making my bagging job harder, the little bastard. Maybe we've got magnetically defective dogs?
