@bones A hint of tit. In one episode. Out of three seasons.
GFY.
That will no entice anyone.
Well maybe @m4l
fuck your own face
I've started watching a show called City on a Hill
Idealistic DA and "corrupt" FBI agent trying to take down armoured car robbers in Boston in the 90s
Kevin Bacon's character is fucking great. Just an amoral asshole.
Yeah I've started it too, after having it sitting there for yonks. KB is great and it's pretty catchy after a slow start. Do you know about the "situation" that happened that it's set after?
Does this get better? I'm 4 episodes in and it's sloooow
I don't give a fuck about all your family drama, it is actually holding back the main story
-
@mariner4life I thought you were talking about Taboo for a moment there, which I've lost interest in for now, just too slow and a bit boring.
Still going with COAH, I reckon it's decent. You can see it wanting to be The Wire though and I do get your point about all the dramas.

Stick with it... Or just skip to the final episode and retrospectively try to figure out how it went from "dreaming about ghosts and shit because I was in Africa and it's so spiritual" ... to ... well... balls-to-the-wall fucking mayhem.

@kruse an episode or two ago he was attacked......in the dark. About 30 seconds or so of black screen and zinging knife noises. How thrilling.
I really would like to hear the thoughts of somebody who watched the first 3, maybe 4?, episodes - and yeah - got the feeling that it was as boring as shit - and then skipped to the final episode of the season - and watched that.
Please do that, and report. You'll miss out on some great build-up, but it would be great to see the reaction. -

@victor-meldrew Ep9 was great, and the final scene. I can't wait for next week.
Just watched it. Extra long episode - terrific.
Might just be the best space drama I've seen.

For All Manking looks like my kid of show, apparently on on AppleTV here 😡
Worth finding a copy or someone on AppleTV.
Slow burner at times but real good.
-
@victor-meldrew I will watch tomorrow. There was a rugby game to attend tonight.

Ep10 didn't pan out as I was expecting, but there was some dust in the room during a few scenes. And a little teaser about how S3 will unfold.
-
Was a bit bored and flicking through Netflix for something mindless to watch and happened on Black Lightning. The first DC African American superhero.
What can I say? There are actually some decent-ish actors in it, some very attractive people, some girl on girl action (more implied that tittilating) and some serious issues (cops shooting black guys). A decent bad guy or two. The main plot is of course pretty non-sensical, it's a superhero series FFS what does one expect? Fight scenes OK, but the SFX. Oh man the SFX. This was obviously last in line at budget time. It is laughable. And the main man's suit? Fuck me, straight out of Primark.
But, I can't stop watching it. I don't know why but I sit there watching it, despising myself.

I actually liked the fact it didn't play out as I thought it would and it wasn't all hunky-dory in the end, Def looking forward to Series 3.

anyone watching The Falcon and The Winter Soldier? (Disney)
Clips all look pretty good, and Marvel have a pretty good track record.
I have been watching some docos (C4 I think they are from) where Brit Levison Wood walks through various countries.
From Russia to Iran, Walking the Nile and Walking the HImilayas.
All really good, there is another in his series I havent seen yet, Walking the Americas.

I enjoyed it, more like the movies than Wandavision.

@nepia I havent watched Wandavision, just didnt look like my thing.
@Crucial has it always been on Netflix? I saw it pop up the other day, not sure if I have seen any of it?
Don’t think so. It is BBC. I don’t know if Netflix has all the series but if so get into it. The series showing on TV1 is the latest (and presumably last) but I don’t think they have shown any of the others. Huge audience in the UK in part because it has cliffhangers so interest gets wound up each week and more people get on board.
By the way NZ is two weeks behind so I am being very careful on spoilers.
