@dogmeat I'm not one to be anti homosexuals (I don't like the word homophobic) but really? Oh well, if that is the way they feel...good for them.
I have seen lions mating in the wild though and it is quite a brutal affair, those two seem to have calmed things down a bit.

I don’t own dogs, why on earth would I want other peoples dogs to show me affection by randomly jumping up or licking me?

My cat used to go for walks with me to the estuary when I lived up at Mangawhai Heads. He once brought home a squid. His little power move is when you sit down to pet him, he immediately moves about one metre away, so you have to move and sit down again. Then he stays still.
Cats have dignity, dogs do not.

Our queen does exactly the same annoying bloody thing.
No squid near where we live, she catches bucket-loads of mice and rats instead.

@victor-meldrew Oh up at Mangawhai he and my other cat used to kill about 2 rodents per day each on average, that I saw. His favourite trick was to bring them into my ensuite bathroom and pull my bath towel over them - that way he could torture them for an hour without killing them. Fortunately the big river rats were almost always dead before they were brought in.
I got a net to catch the mice he brought in, but it only encouraged him. As soon as I caught one he would race to the top of the fence and wait for me to throw it over.
