in the last year we've gone through the 'rainbow tick', just done the 'domestic violence free workplace' tick.. and now we're doing the' inclusion for transgender and gender diverse customers' oh and almost forgot the new Maori strategy committee.
fuck we must be good.
The over PC brigade is so sickeningly hypocritical, apparently I’d have the freedom to wear a dress and call myself Caitlyn but what if I wanted to tattoo a swastika on my head and express my admiration for the fuhrer ?
I think that’s what pisses me off so much about it, you’re free to be whatever you want as long as it neatly fits into their little narrative.

@williethewaiter fark I am always calling my colleagues out for bullying me, they just dont care!

encountered some great workplace PC goodness the other day.. and fcuk me for the first time ever I wasn't the person 'in breach'..
anyhoo - had been rocking a particularly terrible 'tache and mullet.. and there was a bit of light hearted banter about it in a team meeting. And I mean absolutely nothing at all.. a 'shit you look dodgy' type of comment.
couple of days later I get called into a meeting so a manager can apologise to me for any offence she may have caused.
I'm like WTF are you on about (total good sort who we give each other shit all the time).. and she tells me that someone on the team has called her out for offending me - and they could definitely tell that I was offended by my body language..
my response was the only time in my life I've been offended in this organisation is when someone decided to get offended on my behalf!
thing that pisses me off the most is that this manager would have been 99.99% sure that I wouldn't give a rats and found the bants funny as fuck but this pc woke bullshit going on now has meant that the .01% of doubt has now sown enough of a doubt seed to lead them to apologise just in case instead of telling this fcuktard to piss off..
Shit like this has lead to the current situation where no one opens their mouth to say anything in team meetings in case someone gets 'offended', which means the workplace is even more boring than it's ever been. So much for bringing your authentic self to the workplace. We're bloody adults, we all understand where the line is (most of the time!)
Pointless digression from me, but poetic justice would be announce you were horrifically offended that someone spoke up for you without your consent! "I felt undermined and oppressed and worthless that some mysandrist would silence my emotions, just like oppressors did to slaves....blah blah.
As I said a pointless digression but good on you and your manager for seeing through the bullshitđź‘Ť

You have my sympathies. Show up wearing a dress maybe? Just to fit in.
You do shave your legs for cycling right? Should be fine.

@williethewaiter Pick a minority and fill the gap.
Identify as a trans Easter Islander vegan and claim discrimination if you don't climb the ladder.

I'm actually wondering when I'm getting my support group - as someone in a minority group who actually gets online, verbal and physical abuse threats on a daily basis..
..which of course is.. being a cyclist! ha!

So you're a white male. The most bullied group on the planet for the last few years.
Fortunately I can deal with it. I'm sure that you can too. The pricks that drag this stuff up that I am not allowed to punch annoys me.
