Anyone having issues with their Stan feed? Mine has been buffering for the last few minutes.

Mine just refused to play in the end.

Blues forwards have set up what has been a very comfortable victory …Josh Goodhue has been superb, fantastic work rate and throw in a couple superbly timed offloads ..

Great to see him throw that offload to GCT then be first to ruck to do the cleanout. Part of a very dominant forward pack.

I dunno. It’s a good excuse to ease Patrick back from injury.

I’d like to see Sotutu rotated a bit more, and I love we finished with Akira, Sotutu and Robinson all on the park at the same time.

Was two scrums with only seven men too wasn’t there?

Great win by the blues, slightly dominant and snuck through in the end. Rebels unlucky.

@kirwan be very tempted to leave Robinson as the skip because it’s does not seem to effect his game and I do like that he’s in the officials ear..
Also Patty T can focus on getting his game back to what we know he is capable of .

He does seem to handle the refs better. Talks a lot.

How was that YC for choat not a PT too, he was the sole reason they didn't score, that was a clear example of a penalty try.

Some great tries, that move down the right with the passing and off loads resulting in the Plummer kick to Lam was awesome.

    Agree.

How about the Rebels scrum disintegrating for the fifth or sixth time as the Blues scrum rolls towards teh line. As clear at PT as I think you'll see.

Or, for that matter, a shoulder charge in defence stopping a defender running forward.

    The refereeing was shabby, again.

@nzzp sadly kiwis know Pickerell struggles at NPC, how he gets a super gig is beyond me.

Yea were other moments too, but in the context of the game that one stood out most.

yep - they got sold up the river by the interchange saying Sam Darry was on. It was a break in play ... but then they called him Darry about 5 times. Very funny.

As for my previous comment, was looking at the shoulder charge by Rebels. It's a poster child for what they are trying to stamp out of the game - high risk, tucked arm, defender chose not to make a tackle, no mitigating factors. In a consistent world (ha ha ha), that would be a straight yellow, and red if it was slightly higher. NZ Refs this year seem to have an aversion to actually using the frameworks.

anyhoo, arguably a penalty try given proximity to the line as well, but we all know that's apparently not a thing in that game (Choat, scrums, etc)

framework for what it's worth below. High speed and tucked arms are specifically called up as avoiding any mitigating factors

Sotutu is playing really well. Best 8 in NZ by a country mile at the moment.
