i did. I love that show. Easy watching, funny and had some classic moments. Ross Geller is one of the greatest comedy characters ever created.
So, what's the story then ... well, it's fair to say the woman have aged much much better than the blokes. Kudrow doesn't really look that different. Aniston & Cox have definitely both had work done, Aniston more so. First time I've seen her and though nah, not for me. As for the blokes ... Le Blanc is fat and old. Like in a fat old Dad sort of way. Seems he does have a personality though, something he decided to hide in his wooden presentation in Top Gear. Not sure what happened there, as it seems he's actually quite a likeable chap. Perry comes across as he is .. a recovering drug addict. Seems to want to talk more about the intensity of things, how he dealt with it etc. Schwimmer, he's a bit bigger, a bit older .. and sort of seems like the leader of the bunch.
Anyway, if you are a fan of the show, it's worth a watch. Some of the guest appearances are a bit American bullshit cringe worthy (Gaga, looking at you) but most are short and quick and full of humour. They all drop an f-bomb in at times too, which made it interesting given how clean the show was!

@majorrage i watched it, loved the show.
I think only recently has Aniston looked like she had work done, Courtney has looked like she has for many years, went through a patch on Cougar Town when she looked so plastic.
Kudrow looks most natural.
Le Blanc seems to remember more than the others, he certainly seems a character!
Perry is a worry, looks like someone who could have just gone out of rehab!
Schwimmer was my least fave character on the show, but think that it is just him.
The episode with the fire, with the lazy boy chairs was my fave (showed a clip from it)
-
One other thing I noticed is just how much Perry's accent (Canadian) is different when speaking in his natural voice.
It's certainly clear that he coped with the fame etc the worst out of the 6. I guess if you have give 6 relative unknowns a catapult into global fame, you have to expect at least one of them to completely fall apart.

Didn’t watch it, think it was on binge, would have but wouldn’t pay for it

@majorrage given the TV platforms nowadays, such a phenomenon as that show again is less likely.
Some if the viewing numbers were staggering.
Am sure there are plenty here that will shit on it, but i remember when I was flatting, we'd all watch, or we'd go somewhere and watch, plenty of great nights started watching it.

The youngsters love it too. My nieces and all their mates (late teens/early 20s) have watched them all on Netflix.

@nepia yea my daughter and her friends all watch it.
Some friends clips have been popping up as suggested pages on my FB page, and I always watch them.
My rewatch is interesting, I find Ross unwatchable at times, Phoebe's kookiness annoyed me originally but she's probably my favourite character at times now. Joey was a lot less dumb in S1-2 than I remembered too.

Haven't a lot of the youth been trying to cancel them? Not enough diversity etc etc?
For me, I just found it genuinely funny. the pivot scene is an absolute classic.

Like everything probably just a small minority and the media making a mountain out of a molehill.

Wow, I woulda considered him to be quite easily the sixth funniest main character of that show but I guess that’s just me.
Didn’t watch it, don’t intend to. I think I saw every single episode back in the day as our flat ( 10 of us at one stage ) had one decent TV and we used to let the girls watch it ( and we did as well to be social ) so the boys could watch rugby/WWE/whatever action/comedy/borderline porno we rented on Friday and Saturday....although Saturday was usually deserted as we’d all be out partying which is what young folk did as I recall.

Why don't you just admit you enjoyed it? It's not that hard.

Probably enjoyed the early seasons of How I met your mother as much or more
I definitely did - the first 3 1/2 seasons were brilliant, and TBF many of the rest weren't too bad.

Perving and the odd laugh, yes. Joey was by far the funniest of them.
It was no Simpsons or Married with Children though.

Enjoyed Friends when it first appeared in.the mid-1990s. Watched all the episodes in 2007 or so. Not going to bother with the Réunion, especially as that tiresome James Corden was involved.
If my mind wasn’t made up before then it is now

I recall watching the first couple of series a few years back and thought the characters were way smarter and more subtle in the early days. Became way more farcical (literally) as they moved through the series. Ross particularly.
Started watching but Mrs Boo decided she didn t want to, and I wasn't fussed, so didn t
