@roninwc yeah I like the Deep Creek ones too, especially the Hazys!
All the chat and then thinking about those Hazy beers Mmmmmm.
And given the AB game tonight, just had to go out and get myself a couple of Misty Miyagi Hazy IPA's from Deep Creek to drink during the game, one for each half.Warm up is a 4 pack of Brick Lane Hazy IPA's. I know, not Kiwi but given that Dan Carter is a shareholder, I thought close enough.
Cheers!
That Misty Miyagi is fucking flawless.
Deep creek do consistently excellent hazies. Enjoyed some last night

Boneface beer is outstanding and Brewtown is like Willy Wonkas Chocolate factory for grown ups.

Beers, motorsport, axe-throwing, and ice-skating - in a single cluster. What could go wrong?

Pint of Cassels Best Bitter in cask at the Fork and Tap Arrowtown.
Well made. It’s not cask conditioned but then we don’t really have the cellars for that. I suspect it is bag in a box and pulled through a sparkler.
Still, it’s a nice pint at a very sessionable 4.3% -

@roninwc Some of my biggest nights have started as "just a couple of quiet ones".
I’d like to think that’s true of everyone on here.

Today’s beer is a Croatian craft from 5th element. It’s a pilsner and very nice.
The fluent Croatian speakers on the forum can read all about it here

And I’ve now added the American blonde ale, the wheat beer and the Indian pale ale. Colour me impressed and at €1.50 for 500 mls bottles that is more than decent pricing.
Croatia in general (well at least Rab Island) is leaving a good impression: cheap, clean, beggar-free, friendly, decent beaches (albeit stony rather than sandy).

Went to Krk about 30 odd years ago (it was in Yugoslavia then). Apart from the beaches being full of germans it was a nice place.

Speak for yourself.

Rode down the Croatian coast in 2019 - some rather pretty coastline. And Dubrovnik - a pretty sweet Old Town... the setting for at least one scene set in King's Landing in the Throne-Game.
That whole coast is lovely, until Albania, which is just an instantly depressing backwards shit-hole.
