As a former HIBS lad it’s awesome to see two of them in the Black Caps side tonight.

The start of long careers for NZ I hope. I don’t think this pitch suits Ben Sears though.

What is with our outfielders missing out on wickets and conceding fours and sixes by fielding too far in from the rope? Careless AF

Both openers looked like they were just trying to swat and hope before a good one got their number.

Latham has batted brilliantly but unfortunately didn't have any support from the rest of the team.

Being only 5 wickets down is a bit disappointing, suggests the batters were a bit too cautious. Could have a least sent Bracewell up the order to try a fluke a few boundaries.

I know this is essentially our A team but the selections are all wrong. Blundell shouldn't be opening and we shouldn't be playing three seamers (not much choice but could at have picked Kuggeleijn who can hold a bat).
