@mn5 Did you check out the rest of the album? It’s called Shaken and Stirred: The David Arnold James Bond Project. John Barry liked it so much that he recommended Arnold as the composer of one of the Bond movies and he ended up doing four of them. The version of Thunderball by Martin Fry is great and Iggy Pop sings a remarkably good version of We Have All The Time In The World.

Classic piece and a great movie
    .
It was performed by John Williams who was also in the group, Sky, as referred to in Stockcar86's previous post.

Not such a great movie and very 1960's "special effects" but one of Ron Goodwin's classics...

Imagine letting Peter Jackson loose on a remake of this.

Sounds potentially horrific but I’ll give it a whirl !!!

@mn5 Iggy is no Louis Armstrong, but he plays it straight.

Patton is the star of FNM but by fuck the rest of the boys could rock too. That Bass is off the hook.

Was thinking about this on my holiday - I did my daily runs listening to Faith No More.

If you had to choose between watching Mike Patton with a different band playing FNM or Bordin, Gould, Bottum with a different singer .... which would you choose?

I think I'd choose the latter.

Chuck Mosley was a good singer but Patton is one of the all time greats. It’s a tough decision

Iggy Pop was good in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Maybe not the peak of his cultural relevance though ...

Alan Howarth composed several scores with John Carpenter.

He made a mix of Carpenter soundtracks a few years ago. It's so good.

It’s easy to forget that Fleetwood Mac were actually a good band for a brief period in time.
