Quinten Strange presumably still injured from the HB game. Hope he's going to come back. Been a pretty dismal season as far as injuries go.

I wonder why they're not starting Big Leicester at centre and Regan Ware on the wing? That's what I'd do. Aumua coming off the bench against tired legs might be more effective.

I thought Campbell Parata might have earned a bench spot. I guess O'Malley is a bit more versatile.

Chapman ahead of Grooby is interesting. A response to Drummond on the Canterbury bench?

@chris-b Agree about Leicester. He's much more effective at centre, also because the ball so often goes to the right wing and Leicester never seems to get his hands on it on the left wing, even if goes looking for it.

@stargazer And Big Levi is pretty one dimensional - and I think a bit too "statuesque" on defence! 🙂

Do refs not care about players in front interfering with the defence anymore?

Fainga'anuku should be seeing red for that. That was reckless.

Incredibly reckless. Very lucky to get yellow.

Dickson landed on his shoulder, not head/neck area, so never going to be red (with a good ref).

That's the ridiculous component of the decision process, you have to risk a wheelchair to get a RC with some refs.

    That looked worthy to me.

Right decision. Impossible to see whether he wrapped his arm or not, and whether there was contact with the head.

Not even a penalty, due to shit camera coverage.

Does coverage normally look this bad in Christchurch?

Imagine specifically choosing a scrum when you're a man down in the forwards. 🤦

Naholo past it. Be a waste of a spot if a Super team picked him up.

@yeetyaah He's had far too many injuries; not able to come back from it anymore, it seems.
