There’s a ridiculous number of options for chippies these days, it’s a far cry from Salt and Vinegar, Ready Salted and Chicken.
I’ve gotta be careful when I spy them in the Supermarket so as I don’t get too many of them.

Savoury isn't my issue: sugar is.
I know exactly what I'm doing wrong, and I know exactly how to avoid it. But my headspace isn't right to actually carry through right now due to work, wife, and injury.
Two weeks from now I'll be celebrating the end of this run with the knowledge I've lost ~4kg from the 107.8kg I started with back in September. Right now tho I'm struggling to give a fuck.

@nta point is I felt like some chips that were sitting in the pantry last night calling to me, but in having some I weighed them out to make sure I didnt have too many, far too easy to smash half a bag and there goes 400cals.
I've lost 4.8kg in similar period, and I have carried on eating what I want, but when I have treats, I record it so I can see the numbers and then I'm like, maybe I'll only have half that donut/cake...
For me it helps me, keep me accountable.

well I did just sign up for a half ironman next May - but I don't think all the Ferners need to hear all my excuses for bad diet and missed training sessions
