    They need to bring in someone like Ralf Rangnick as director of football, maybe get him in as interim manager short term until they can find the right manager longer term. Zero chance of that happening though, CR7 wouldn't stand for it

    Called it.

    (Well, you could say I called the exact opposite because I said it wouldn't happen, but that's a minor technicality)

    Burnley-Spurs called off because of Snowflakes. Wokeness is getting out of control.

    Chelsea Man U game was ridiculous.

    For a start, Carrick benched Ronaldo for his first game in charge. That seems kind of strange.

    United really are awful though. Chelsea were playing around them at will & if Lukaku had started, we may well have been 2 or 3 nil up at the half time. Plenty of ball, plenty of balls in, just lacking the killer edge. Then we make one mistake and Sancho runs away for the goal to put us behind. United then concede a completely pointless penalty and we start to push.

    Ended one nil which is an awesome return for United - away to Chelsea. But crap for us.

    If Ole had told Man Utd not to waste their money on Ronaldo he might still have a job.

    Utd are at their best playing a pressing counter-attacking game. Ronaldo might get you 20 goals but he can't play that system and thus will lose you more games than he wins.

    Of course the money he brings in off the pitch will keep the Glazers happy.

    Not quite - they have been drawn to face Al Jazira, the winner of which will play Al Hilal for the right to play Chelsea. SO unlikely they will get that far unfortunately.

    He wouldn't be happy to do it, but Ronaldo would really suit being a bench player to bring on with 25 to go and a goal or 2 needed. In fact he is perfect for that role, he's great in the air or on the ground. I wonder if City had that in mind when they were supposedly keen on him.

    So unhappy you assigned it as a defeat for Chelsea - nice work.

    @crucial cheers

    I heard a theory the other day that we may have payed more opposition clubs and at more opposition grounds than any other club. Just because almost all other clubs have bounced around 2-3 leagues where as we have played in 9 different leagues and one of very few that have gone from non league to the top tier

    ...and if you add MK Dons into the mix....

    Always a good wind up mentioning MK to a true Wimbledon fan 😉

    Thats a pretty good write up actually. I think more could be made of the fact we've achieved it whilst still being +80% fans owned (one fan one vote) and the troubles around raising the money to build Plough Lane, crowd funding and selling off bonds in the stadium etc

    Sergio Aguero forced to retire from football at 33 due to a heart condition. His goal-scoring stats are unbelievable.
