Very thoroughly reviewed, and not an easy one. Virat looks unimpressed funnily enough, but you might want to get the bat a little bit closer to a ball smashing into middle than that.

    Patel on fire!

Virat needs to watch himself I think. That was bordering on dissent and a fine.

Pad was marginally in front of bat. Maybe pad then bat then pad. So out

Agree it was pad then bat then pad. But so close. Big wicket.

It was maybe bad then pat, but not conclusive which came first. So stay with umpire's call.

    Wow.

Yeah - that's what I saw at least from some angles - but, I'm not quite an impartial observer.

Nothing that said bat definitely first.

Great fightback by Ajaz - him and Timmy have both been good.

    Kylo and Yoda2 haven't.

Seeing an Indian captain getting a marginal LBW call at home against a spinner makes my head explode a bit. How far has the game come!

I saw a comment that Patel is not a good spinner. I disagree,. Yes he didn't bowl well in the last test, but that deck really doesn't cater to his strengths - he needs a pitch with normal to decent bounce and average to more pace, neither of which were available in the last test. We already saw that he'd made adjustments in his very first over, and now we're seeing he's more confident in bowling his stock delivery because he knows it has a fighting chance on this deck.

Just rewound. How the hell did they give Kohli out?

    That's bullshit.

I'll take it. But that's bullshit.

Up there with "could have come from anywhere", Nigel Llong level of incomptetence.

    But I'll take it.

@act-crusader @Paekakboyz does watching a crappy movie with Mrs Boo rather than the crucket count?

Back to not watching crucket as Mrs Boo wants to watch something else ...

Like it when the crucket is not shut...

Let's see, two left arm spin bowlers who are reasonaably suited to the itch and the controversial option went for almost 5 an over - This deck has enough pace and bounce to suit Wagner perfectly. FML, Stead has the imagination of a Suet pudding.

@booboo I think very slight deflection off pad first, bigger deflection off bat then hits pad. The 3rd umpire looked really hard but all Commentators agreed with decision. Kohli stayed for a while but in the end courageous call. Certainly not home town.
