The comments under Neil's tweet criticising him are gold - particularly the clown who confused GMB with GBN

Under promise and over deliver
It’s not hard
They’ve set their own bar too high and the fallout from the inevitable failure is theirs and theirs alone.
Dude, you’re on the snow.
Relax!

Underpromising means not getting a chance to deliver because elections are not usually won by underpromising.

If it’s an election cycle then fair enough
Labour offers no threat to the Conservative governance so the Tories would have been better placed now and for the future by aiming for half of what they we’re proposing and delivering three quarters of it
That is a successful booster programme

Well you say that. But if Starmer continues to purge the far left in party, they'll be getting my vote next time around. Polls suggest many think the same.

Actually I would rather the Conservatives get their shit together so I could vote where I sit naturally on the political spectrum. But I can't take anymore Boris.
Man cannot control himself, his party or the media.

@mikethesnow what a legend the bloke on the right is

The result means the Tories have lost a parliamentary election in North Shropshire for the first time in 117 years and for the first time ever since the constituency has been in its current form.
A swing of 37.2 per cent saw Mrs Morgan win with 17,957 votes while Tory candidate Neil Shastri-Hurst finished second with 12,032 and Labour's Ben Wood was third with 3,686.

Labour result there is just as big news.
Shows Tory voters can still not vote Labour.
Can’t think why.
Yeah that's what I thought, Lib Dems beat them by 15k.
