That ridiculous chase scene in the latest episode of Boba reminded me of something that I couldn't quite put my finger on but eventually got it. It reminds me of the hoverboard chase with Biff Jr and the gang from Back to the Future 2. Comical and stupid.
…….and why did they chase him when Boba could have CAUGHT UP WITH HIM IN HIS FUCKEN JET PACK !?!?!?!
I wasn’t so annoyed about it until you mentioned it…..geez this show has as much annoying shit as good shit. I hope Bossk, Dengar and other tough guys pop in for a visit and save everything.
They're phoning alot of it in which is disappointing. I'm wondering whether they're doing a GoT type of thing and saving all the money and awesomeness for a couple of episodes.
It would have cost them a packet already to get the Power Rangers out of retirement.

What I’m not so keen on is all these invincible female fighters ( Fennic, Cara, the female Mandos etc )
We get it, Storm Troopers are pretty poor and get by on huge numbers but the scene in Mando where the man himself, Fennic and Boba take out over 50 on their own was pretty ridiculous.

That's a good comparison. And was limited by the current special effects, otherwise it might have been more like the end of The Mandalorian
…..and choreography……check out Lukes missed kick at about 35 seconds in…..however this may have been a “force kick” now I think about it.
This brawl is probably pretty fair…….Boba is an undoubted tough nut who could briefly match one of the best Jedi ever……but if it went on much longer Luke woulda made mincemeat of him.

Chewie and Lando did absolutely fuck all in that fight, Han was excused for being blind but if this was remade today they’d take out loads on their own too ( or maybe not cos they’re not female )

Not entirely accurate, definitely capable, but they were far better at stick fighting than he was.

I'm not sure if a blind guy accidentally hitting his backpack is a good example of him being bested in a fair fight. Regardless, I don't really care that he got his arse kicked. Even Tyson Fury or Anderson Silver would probably get the shit beaten out of them in a stick fight against a much smaller and weaker expert.
What I find amusing is his love of the Sand People. The same people who enslaved him, beat the shit out of him and were basically going to work him to death until he killed a deadly creature. Boba is supposed to be the biggest bad ass in the Galaxy after Vader. He should have seriously fůcked the Sand People up after that. But instead he embraces the same people who had him tied to a stake, beat him up and forced him to dig for mini pumpkins. Same with all the dopey decisions he makes. He would have died multiple times if not for Fenik and even that white robot seems exasperated at his stupidity. I guess the coolest thing about Boba was his mystique. We knew sweet fa about him. Maybe it was better that way. I always thought Mando was like a poor man's Boba and Mando was pretty farking cool. But shit, Mando looks far more canny and deadly than Boba has so far.
