I'm guessing a mass appearance of characters (including apparently Han Solo). Turns out that no one likes the Pykes.
Mando to turn up with an army of Sandpeople? Def Boba riding his Rancor.
No one else could have really played the Marshall.

i assume we wont get too much more crime syndicate stuff, they might want to keep the option of telling those stories during the empire with Maul and everything

I hope I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure Grogu will choose Mando. The inconvenient fact is that if Grogu is a student of Luke then he likely gets killed by Kylo Ren. They're now trying to avoid thar rather unpleasant scenario. Unfortunately that means any hope of the sequels being binned is a pipe dream.
One thing that's a bit of a shame is that the CGI is getting so good that we could potentially now have sequels set just after ROTJ with the main cast. Maybe they should have waited a bit, but I guess Disney understandably wanted an immediate return on their investment.
