    Spot on.

He's stopped saying 'canes by plenty' in his predictions, since Holland took over!

It derserve another try, but Jordie at 12 didn't really work in this game.

Holland did say that JB will be getting an extended period at 12, but you never know with him.

Really impressed with Lord when he came on but McWhannell also played well until he had to leave the field, and Ah Kuoi was busy too.

A huge tackle by Jacobson to stop a line break and potential try near the end.

I don't think that either team will be that happy with their performance, and both had to suffer from some Pickerill puzzlers.

I love that Lord had a huge grin on his mug, everytime he was a pest at the breakdown, he loves it

No red card in this game. Jordie was the most serious candidate after his shoulder hit Ioane's head. Now wait and see whether there will still be a citing. Would need to see it agai ...

He looks a sizeable unit in the flesh although I could only compare him to Canes locks đŸ˜†

No one seemed to be playing in anything like a normal formation. JGB was hardly seen at first receiver/10. I couldn't figure it. He his the line harder than most, and his defence was good too

Yep that’s what I saw from behind them. Jordie was everywhere but in the centres in attack and the back line was often a mess of forwards.

Haha, Jason Holland just said he thought JGB was "solid" today.

Lord has slowly put on some mass, which was needed at this level. Very athletic and not afraid to be physical.

In fairness no coach is going to rip a player on tv like that.

    Solid Gold Shit.

That’s unfair actually, he did stuff all except some wonky low aimless kicks.

Narawa is so much better than Trask it isn't funny.

    And they take him off.

    Cripes. For Clayton's pet Tiatia.

Narawa didn't look 100% as he was laboured making the run before being substituted. I would still like to see Stevenson given a go at the back.

@crucial I wonder who's going to be at 12 next week, he's tried Proctor, Umaga-Jensen, Walden, Barrett and Savea. Must be Sullivan's turn.

@crucial he's progressed so far since his All Black's debut, some great mentoring by old mate Holland.

If they're going to persist with JB at 12, they need to get him to reign in the high shots. Lucky not to see yellow for the Ioane tackle and 5 mins later hit Gatland high just before the Tiatia try... didn't see a replay but didn't look great real time.

Have just finished watching the game after house shopping all day, Chiefs looked like well deserved winners even after that late Hurricanes flurry, so well played.

The Hurricanes just look like a team that doesn't really know what kind of game they want to play. Their attack also seems to break down too easily after multiple phases but I guess what do you expect when the team is completely different every week.

I don't mind Jordie at 12 but I feel he needs a bigger body outside him (looking at you PUJ) who can get over the gain line. We've got far too many players in this team that crash the ball up but literally stop when they hit the defensive line (Prinsep, Blackwell, Proctor) and it just prevents the Canes from building pressure.

Ah well, another week and another loss. I'm really not surprised. Are we even going to make the top 8 this year lol?
