Partially related - there's no way that major acting names such as Meryl Streep did not know about Weinstein's "activities".
And there is also no way that Weinstein could have withstood them going to the press.
They just didn't care and acted aghast when it all came out.

Exactly. But the world saw the slap so everyone in Hollywood was jostling each other out of the way to show how offended, outraged and shocked they were when it happened.

Not quite the point. His angle is bang on. You can’t clap Polanski and admonish Smith.
Actually Polanski is infinitely worse than Smith.
I just think there is a big hole in the Hollywood collective.

You can’t call Hollywood hypocritical as Hollywood is a community of people, not a person.

Exactly. But the world saw the slap so everyone in Hollywood was jostling each other out of the way to show how offended, outraged and shocked they were when it happened.
Yeah but they gauged the mood first before they did. Probably checked with their agents first as well.
I have no problem with people being rich or famous. Good luck to you. But sanctimonious, virtue signaling rich and famous people can go jump. Just enjoy the life the pharoahs would have envied and kindly shut tfu.
