So, if we manage to just not do that, we'll hold onto the ball for a few phases and score some points.

So yeah, same theory as for the last half a dozen tests? That didn't work out so well...

no no, this time just throwing it wide will work. You'll see.

There are some optimists on this thread ...

    34-10 to Boks.

Including you, to think that this Bok side can score 34โ€ฆ

They got 32 and 30 vs Wales so anything is possible vs us at the moment.

And we played 10 times worst than Wales and they only scored 26.

Weโ€™ve got a 10 that knows how to play territory, which is a good start.

    SA 21 - ABs 24

ABs to score first try and stay in front. Boks to mess up late try attempt.

    ABs 23-17
Throwing it wide willy-nilly and avoiding set-piece/ the breakdown works a treat and big Bok forwards a run off their feet. Marx gets whistled off the park for not supporting his own body weight, ARs rule Boks rush defense is offside, Boks penalized for crashing into the ABs kick receiver, Boks forwards penalized for illegal cleanouts and general "roughness" (referee explains it is not in the spirit of the game).
Foster claims this is the new non-confrontational era for rugby and the Bok side is out of touch and their approach doesn't belong in 2022.

Alarm set for 12.50am, Milo on the bench ready to go.

ABs to win this with pure heart. They'll play tighter, Richie and DH will kick a lot, as will JB. The set piece will be a bit shaky, but will be good enough.

Forwards to play tight and run hard and straight. Cane to put someone on their arse early.

Don't expect flashy backline moves from either team, but we will limit mistakes and chase kicks better than we have in recent times.

    Good guys to win 16-13

What time are you going to bed? There's probably no point me asking as you're likely already sleeping. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I generally don't go to sleep until 1am/1:30am-ish so I just stay up and then try not to nod off before the game finishes.

    20-0 Foster

If it were a cheeseburger eating contest.

The game: Boks by 15 plus.

We will have to play a damn sight better than we did last week to win.

If Lomax and de Groot hold up in the early scrums that will be a start.

Maybe its just Gin and pessimism, but I'm going to go for worst case.

All Blacks 17-12 on the back of a massive defensive effort against a 14-man Boks. One try in it with an interception by Havili finished off by Gear. Foster keeps his job.

Fast forward 14 months to a RWC quarter final re-match where the AB's are knocked out and SA admit throwing this game to ensure Foster remained in charge.

Someone needs to go back through the list and pick up any fo the nostrildamus who picked an AB win. Not many.

I did, but tentatively ... so much depended on the reffing and tight 5 effort.

@nzzp I feel like most people have me on ignore, only way to explain picking a similar result after I've posted my score.
