@Victor-Meldrew But he created the position he is in by his ineptitude as a coach. I am not sure why your continue to stick up for this guy just because he is what we have.

I'm not sticking up for anyone - just calling the situation as I see it re the Lock situation and lack of game time & injuries.

His focus should have been on blooding the next batch of players.

    Ahead of winning? Really?

What are we this year, 4 from 8? 4 from our last 10?

You could argue that they have gone with the status quo ahead of winning...

As you are suggesting, winning is key thing.

You could argue that they have gone with the status quo ahead of winning...

I think they've gone for the best team available to get a win and haven't had the relative luxury of giving experience to new players. That's down to injuries & ineptitude on and off the field.

There's also an argument that Foster & co. shouldn't give a stuff about the Eden Park record as we have the Bledisloe, and throw Vaa'i, Christie, Paps & Akira etc, in the starting XV to give them game time and see how they go.

PPP getting no love in the thread but I think pre injury he was starting to play to match his size.

Also, on Vai'i, he's been fairly good in most of his matches for the ABs. He's just behind the two greats and Scooter in the pecking order.

I also can't see Dickson leap frogging Lord in the coaches rankings. They clearly rate him highly.

I mentioned him but got shot down

It is so hard to defend triple alliteration on here.
Plus he interviews like someone still concussed from fight club

Pari Pari Parkinson is hoping to be back in action sooner than expected after suffering a major injury in the late stages of this year's NPC.

@Victor-Meldrew no not at the expense of winning but because of his ineptitude his back is against the wall now so he has no wiggle room.
