@nzzp I reckon chuck him the ball what do we have to lose, I mean we are going to anyway

Pakistan are a seriously good outfit. Hard to beat. Smokeys for the WC I reckon

Babar is all class. They have handy bowlers too.

    Them or OZ.

    Wtf was Conway doing there?!

Between the dropped catches and fuckups like that, we have gifted them 25 extra runs

    "What a good shot".

    Nice one Macca.

Worst shot ever down his throat.

    All done. GP 2 x 6s.

Heads off to check spectator who wasn't watching the ball.

Williamson is slowly morphing into a Test specialist.

Yeah - my hot take is that Little Kane's going to be a liability at the T20 World Cup unless he takes a markedly more risky approach to his batting.

We're going to need a shitload of luck to win the thing, and that involves people like Allen, Conway, Phillips and Neesham making quick runs and decent scores against the big guns.

We might be best to field a team somewhat like today's with instructions to Guptill to play his shots.

We might as crash out with guns blazing from the word go.

Whats going on with this Bracewell fulla?

He looks like he would be journeyman cricketer at international level but is outshining both Santner and Sodhi!

One journeyman being slightly less shit than a couple of others ?

This is without a doubt THE most unheralded cricket tournament in NZs history. If it wasn’t for the fern I’d have no idea it was even on.

Santner's considered high quality in the shorter forms and Sodhi has been ranked number 1 in the world so not sure you can call them journeymen.

Maybe NZ cricket needs some better marketing because it's pretty awesome that we have tri series happening in one location over the space of the week.

Yeah a bit of a smartarse comment, fully aware of their qualities in the shorter forms of the game. As long as they stay away from the five day game its ok with me.

One thing our nation does very well is produce bits and pieces cricketers and we’re lucky there is a format that suits them so well.
