I'm invoking the ancient law of crossing my fingers behind my back as I type, so I cannot tempt fate, but the final Eng / Ire game already looks like a grand slam decider to me.

Right I can stop typing one handed now.

When the hell are NZ / Eng finally scheduled to play? Must admit its very kind of you guys to give us at least a year to get up to speed 🙂

Englands 18th will be Scotland. The current sequence started v Uraguay... so Ireland would be no. 19.

Hmm. I'd forgotten about Uruguay. Ten in a row sounds much nicer. And with four against SH nations too.

We last lost a home game in 2009 didn't we? How many wins is that at home?

There was a graphic in the All Blacks v Wales Test #3 thread. But for the loss vs SA in 2009 the home winning streak would be 71.

To my disappointment that loss in Hamilton is the only time I've seen the ABs lose live in 40+ tests, and it's in my home city. :mad1:

We have lost 6 times at home since 2000!, Oz just lost 3 in a row. Our last 3 home losses go back to 2003!

The only time I've seen the ABs lose live was at the Cake Tin when John Eales kicked the winning penalty in the 133rd minute of the match. I'll never forget the walk back into to town after the match, massive crowd absolutely dead silent, everybody was in shock.
