Eddie's new (not) look England side to start off the Autumn International series against the Island Stealers.

England team to face Argentina: Steward; Nowell, Tuilagi, Farrell (c), Cokanasiga; Smith, Youngs; Genge, Cowan-Dickie, Sinckler, Coles, Hill, Itoje, Curry, B Vunipola.

Replacements: Singleton, M Vunipola, Heyes, Ribbans, Simmonds, Willis, Van Poortvliet, Slade

I'm really not happy with bringing in Coles and shunting Itoje to 6. Willis is a better flanker than Maro so IMO it weakens us at both second and back row. Line out option maybe? But Curry's athleticism makes him a viable option and one that has been used quite a bit.

The midfield also looks unbalanced due I feel to Eddie desperately wanting to shoe-horn both Farrell and Tuilagi in the team. I really think that Farrell is the fly in the ointment here. Tuilagi at 12 and Slade at 13 has a better balance. If you want Farrell in there then play him at 10 with Smith on the bench (though I'd have them the other way around).

Lastly, Ben Youngs and his zimmer frame at 9 - just why? By all means have him on the bench to come on if Van Poortvliet buggers things up but JvP is the incumbent and played well in Aus and of course is very much the future.

Smacks of a win at all costs

England to strangle until the Argies tap out

Eddie seeing if Tuilagi can go a match without breaking?

More smacks of a FFS don't lose. Like watching an England cricket team selection from the 90s.

It seems daft to me to have the bench stacked with forwards and still have starters playing out of position.

Argentina: 15 Juan Cruz Mallia, 14 Mateo Carreras, 13 Matias Moroni, 12 Jeronimo de la Fuente, 11 Emiliano Boffelli, 10 Santiago Carreras, 9 Gonzalo Bertranou, 8 Pablo Matera, 7 Marcos Kremer, 6 Juan Martín González, 5 Tomás Lavanini, 4 Matías Alemanno, 3 Francisco Gómez Kodela, 2 Julián Montoya (c), 1 Thomas Gallo
Replacements: 16 Ignacio Ruiz, 17 Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro, 18 Eduardo Bello, 19 Lucas Paulos, 20 Facundo Isa, 21 Eliseo Morales, 22 Tomás Albornoz, 23 Matías Orlando

Cheering for Los Pumas but an England win could be good for the ABs.

Fucken hell, the douche runs strong in that England tight 5. Imagine if Greening/Thomson were still playing.

Or Cockerill\West. I don't know much about Alex Coles though. Itoje is at 6.

Good try. Cokanasiga hard to stop from close range.

England leading 10-6. Lots of big runners in their backline.
