It's also a skill issue. The same players have rubbish hands every week. Blackwell, Tuipulotu, Laulala, Kirifi, PGS etc.
I have a feeling some coaches need to watch Moneyball to get an insight into their teams makeup etc. I guess they figure Blackwell etc offer more than their weaknesses. Not sure.

@KiwiMurph fair call but I also think that is a result of players always wanting to play the low % play so thinking about what miracle off load they intend to do next without ensuring they catch the ball first.

Whichever team first works out this ref doesn't give a shit about coming in from the side at rucks will go a long way to dominating possession.
