Rennie and O'Halloran would be a good combo for the Canes.

Would love T Ellison to be involved in some capacity now that's he's got all the secrets from the Crusaders. 😃

I believe the Crusaders have locked in their coach but will not announce it until after the SR season is finished.

Jamie Joseph a proud Malborourian from Blenheim has gone back to his roots...

Would be surprised if they not sorted, they knew it's Razor's last year, and they usually a pretty switched on club.

@Tim According to L'Equipe, he's shortlisted by Toulon for the forwards coach role, next season.

Jono Gibbes, une piste pour les avants à Toulon

Le technicien néo-zélandais Jono Gibbes, libre depuis son éviction de Clermont, fait partie de la short-list du RCT pour occuper le poste d'entraîneur des avants la saison prochaine.

@Stargazer While he may or may not return to New Zealand, what is becoming obvious is that we are likely to see a slight reversal of our coaches going overseas. This presents an opportunity for coaches to return which seem highly likely, whether for head coach or assistant coaching roles.

I'm tempted to retire to the South of France, judging by the waistlines of Kiwis there, the food is pretty good.

Ben Herring is a guy I could see returning to coach a NZ SR team in the future, he's a promising young coach.

Do you mean as opposed to being a proven coach?

@Tim He coached them when they took the Shield from Waikato in his first year from memory and then again when they lost it a couple of games later.
