Sad news and another MND loss. Paul Rendal was a great player that was kept on the England sidelines for far too long and made his debut at age 30 whilst we had a revolving door of props, most just not in his league.

@MiketheSnow Consistent with her whole life then. She was a bit of a political firebrand even in her pomp as actor in the 70's. Always seemed to turn up at a picket line.

Great actress and good for her in actually standing successfully as an MP rather than wank on from the sidelines. For me, tarnished a bit as she thought it OK to call pro-Israeli Jews Nazis and defended Corbyn's antisemitism.

Is Corbyn an anti-Semite or anti-Israel?

By his own belief that people who don't oppose racism are racists - probably both.

RIP John Goodenough, materials scientist, co-inventor of the lithium-ion battery.

Very few people have had the positive impact that he did.

    The biggest F.

Just reading about him last night! Amazing that 26% of world’s Lithium supply contained in a group of salt lakes in Chile!

@pakman Fortunately for us, nearly 50% of world production is in Australia.

WELL, if we're trying to save the world by moving to electric machinery, then the 'benefit' of Aussie lithium oxide rocks being shipped to China, where coal powered machinery refines it, is somewhat hard to get excited about!

He joked that his pacemaker relied on his technology!
