Good attacking side no doubt - however greatly helped by being able to play the Kings twice and Sunwolves once.

Highlanders aren't too bad on attack either last time I looked (if I ignore their quarter final performance).

I have a suspicion the Landers will get up here. They know how to hang in and get the job done, and this finals footy lark is all new to the kitty Cats.

Yet getting 5 pass the Saders and a half dozen pass the Blues doesn't count? And a couple more against the Chiefs in NZ nogals!

Yip fair enough, this is brand new territory for this bunch and the Landers has got a T-shirt.

But this is knock out games and anybody can take it.

That Chiefs game is when i first started taking note of the Lions, we jumped out to an early lead and i thought it was in the bag, and then they got the ball and tore us up. Those boys play pretty rugby to watch, and their coach seems far too switched on to be South African, i reckon they are a huge shout in this, despite their inexperience. Coach's message should be simple, just play the way you have all year, and the result will take care of itself

Having watched some of the Crusaders perishing in the Lions' den without Daniel, I don't think the Clan will want many scrums, as the the Lions looked ominous there.

JJ seems to like Pryor off the bench, regardless of who is fit.

Yeah strange one with Christie. Read earlier in the week that him, Thompson and Reddish were sent home rather than travelling to SA. Funny not to select your co captain at all. I guess Thompson not being picked makes sense once you see the forward/back solit on the bench and Reddish probably just 4th choice lock with Whitelock covering that spot too.

Lentjes looks a bit light and the Landers may regret Christie's physicality. But JJ must have his own reasons to make such a stunning choice.

i would have been tempted by thompson too, faddes has done some really good stuff this season but last few games has been making a few too many errors for finals footy.

Yep but didn't the Clan have the Reds, etc ? Don't think any of those games count for squat.
