Well deserved. The Boks need a kicker. Great game to watch thought.

I loved every minute of that game. Just the intensity and accuracy of those two teams was bloody great to see. I know there weren't many tries or anything, but just great rugby.

I hope BOK gets final if we not in it.

Ireland better team, but both defences and ruck work amazing. Boks paying for rassie decision to not take a kicker, and only 2 hookers. Then replace hooker with kicker, and in this match had neither a spare hooker nor a kicker

@Kirwan Yeah I agree. We'll be underdogs no doubt and deservedly so, but they're definitely beatable. They got soundly beaten in most parts of the game, and was disappointed with their poor set piece for a side so highly rated.

It is very odd choice not to have a kicker behind a forward orientated game plan. It’s obvious to all these right games are won with the boot.

With the inclusion of pollard boks will feel they have another gear to go to, not so sure they will be devastated with this result

The bok 10 is a better player than pollard imo. But he can’t kick. Looks nervous every time.

I thought he showed what a good ref he was, by hardly really showing us he was there!

BOK reffed very well - one of his best i think. (I genuinely feel an English or French ref would have made this a very different game)

Yeah you do get the feeling many NH refs want to find infringements, for all the shit the SH game.gets at present, at least BOK tried to keep it moving and not allow too much slowing down.

Can't see us beating Ireland, but we have a better chance of beating them than SA. We would have had no chance against SA imo.

But is he as good a first five?

@taniwharugby Williams did a great job letting Georgia - Portugal flow earlier which was a sensational game.

@akan004 may as we’ll go home now then, as SA will likely now be on the other side of the draw from NZ unless Scotland pull off a shock

What a novel idea having winger with a really big boot that can carve off huge chunks of territory..?

If we want to beat Ireland we have to get ahead so that they are forced to chase. Imo we need frizzell and blackadder in the 23. Any of these vaia type featherweights and we can forget it. We are really lucky to have Italy next so we can really concentrate on the ¼ final with the top team and let the reserves play Uruguay.

@Billy-Tell there's going to be 8 or 9 days between the Uruguay game and the quarter. If we beat Italy roll the top team out again vs Uruguay.

You've got to nail those goal kicks in these games. SA had their chances to win.
