Found this the other day:

Firefox plugin and instructions to get around geo-blocking of sites like dailyshow.com, nbc.com and others.

The instructions are for watching the daily show, but try it with any of the us-based sites. Hulu apparently does not play nice - but the streaming quality has been excellent for me. YMMV.

Easier than torrenting, if you just want to watch - not keep the content. -
Works on adultswim.com too
I really do think its been a fricking outstanding 10 years for top drawer series, the 2 in a class of their own (Wire, Sopranos) then a fuckload that are very very good (Breaking Bad, Shield, 6 Feet Under, Deadwood, Dexter) and then another lot that are well worth getting (24, Battlestar)

You've really got to have a vast amount of time on your hands before you are reduced to watching Desperate Housewives, CSI Miami, Heroes & Greys Anatomy. And even thats probably being unfair to Desp Housewives, it didn't make me want to claw my own eyes out like that ginger fucker in CSI does...

And thats without even starting on the superb comedy stuff about like Peep Show, Curb, Weeds etc
Not a fan of Green Wing then? -
Rescue Me is the best thing on TV since The Sopranos ended. Nothing else comes close. But then I grew up in New York with some pretty fucked up characters, so the show makes me laugh and brings back memories, some bad, some good.

Bottom line is that it is extremely well written. My wife loves House, and I can appreciate Hugh Laurie's versatility as an actor--I loved watching him in Jeeves & Wooster and Black Adder, and House is so far from those. He's brilliant. But the series isn't one that I really get into. -
I watched `FlashForward' last night.

This show has a lot of promise.

I loved it when, at the end, the mysterious man walked amongst the unconscious crowd.

Who could that be, I wonder. Muuuuwaaaahaaaaa!

Can't wait for next week...!

I just hope it isn't a one-season series. -
yeah it showed promise, how they deal with the next couple of episodes will be interesting.

Youd have to think it will only be 1 series, I mean how long could thye take to get to April 29 2010 otherwise.

As to Lost...guess it wouldnt be Lost if you werent more confused after watching it than before!!

thought there were a couple of errors, deliberate no doubt soon to be explained away -

I'm about to watch this. I had to video it because I was outnumbered as to what we were going to watch.

Can't wait! -
Watched the 3rd episode of Caprica last night. Caprica is a planet thousands of years away from earth and in the past.

Adama's dad drives a Citroën DS Mark II.

That is all. -

And in 60 years time, Kara Thrace will drive a Hummer -
I was flicking through the channels the other night and landed on something I thought was a UFC fight. Turned out it was a show called Bully Beatdown on MTV. It's terrific. Basically they find a bully and challenge him to step into the cage with an MMA fighter. Theres one round of wrestling and one round of kickboxing. The bully of course gets the shit beaten out of him and those he bullied go home very happy. Its hilarious because the bullies actually think they have a chance. The only one I've seen last the 2nd round was some roid pumping Russian freak who threw up and needed medical assistance afterwards.

Check it out: http://www.mtv.com/shows/bully_beatdown/season_2/series.jhtml -
^ He sure is! The second hour of the premiere is better than the first, imo. The third episode/hour is not one of the best episodes. Next episode is Locke's I think which should make for good watching.

I liked Flash Foward. It's definitely something I'll keep watching. -
And a GMC SUV. The writers had a few reponses to that sort of criticism. One being it doesn't really matter, and if a worried about what car they are driving then the story/characters have lost your attention.

The second is the mythical catch all of this has all happened before and will happen again. So all those cars were actually invented in the colonies. -
watched the 1st series of Breaking Bad, quite good, first few were ok, but got going and the final episode was classic!

I see they are mid way through the 2nd on C4, so will have to find it somewhere else! -

Yeah, the tone is a bit mixed to start off, but then it gets really good. 2nd season is excellent, and darkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk ... -
Does anyone here watch Burn Notice? I really like it, but maybe I'm in the minority of 1 <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />.
