Chapman might be taking his chance. I was surprised to see Young dropped and he brought in down the order. If Chapman carries on like this he might end up playing a few more.

Young is very much a top order player, whereas Chapman is more likely to come off batting down the order without needing to get set.

I get that. I would just have expected Young/Conway to open then Kane/Ravindra at 3/4. That would have left no place for Chapman.

The balance of the current team might be better.
