@Bones Those two are a great team. Che's stand up specials are pretty good too.

@Bones They're the funniest bit of SNL. Some of the jokes Che writes for Colin would have a comedian cancelled if he wrote them for himself.

I've never watched an entire episode of SNL, just clips of the skits and the comps of those two,

I feel a bit sorry for Colin as it's much harder for him to write jokes for Che. Well not that sorry, he gets to shag Scarlett Johansen frequently.

"Cancelled" seems a bit of an understatement.

Dana Carvey was underrated. He was brilliant at parodying conservative commentators like George Will and John McLaughlin:

And credit to McLaughlin for going on SNL. The McLaughlin Group was the only panel show that was any good.

IIRC it was one of the highlights of his set.

I think he stopped being funny the moment Chris Farley died.

Watched Ricky Gervaise’ Armageddon show on Netflix last night. Was it funny? Yes in parts, very funny and the general theme struck a chord, but overall it seemed to be more of an “I need to get this off my chest” thing rather than out and out comedy. I also think Armageddon was an inspired name as it looks like it might be professional suicide, the way things are headed. He gave so many reasons to get cancelled and wasn’t hiding the fact.

Might be your last chance to see him.
