    Boy Swallows Universe

Started off, even up to Ep5 of 7, really good. Brilliant even.

A couple of brothers from broken family living on the fringes ... OK kind of in the midst of ... drug culture in working class Brissy in the mid 80s, complete with cop corruption.

Funny, sad, scary, challenging, all the feels. Very 'Boy' Iike.

Apparently book upon which it was based was written by a bloke brought up in that sub-culture (parents arrested for dealing heroin etc).

Really enjoying the story and trying to work out how it will all tie back and deal with the baddies.

    But it didn’t.

Whole story fell off a cliff in the final two episodes. Ep6 lost that innocence and joy of the first 5, and then Ep7 just got silly.

Won't recommend against it as the first 5 eps were enjoyable and watchable on their own. And the ending in itself was ok if it had nothing to do with the start.

    OK but ultimately disappointing.

Nearly all the way through "Six Nations: Full Contact".

Quite enjoying it actually. Nice to get the behind the scenes stuff. Especially from Crowley the crusty old bastard.

The different approaches of each team, particularly the romance that the French side apply, is what I'm most interested in.

Crowley looked about 50 when he played and looked like he was running into the wind. You’d be grumpy too

I’ve just seen the first episode and I found it enjoyable too. The anecdotal theory that you have to be super arrogant to be a good fly half was borne out by Finn Russell. It also came across that the tensions between him and Toony are still simmering.

Maybe up in the Norf, but the two best AB 10s of the modern era, DC and AC, weren't really super arrogant at all.

No mate, it’s worldwide, just not 100%. For every Jonny Wilkinson there is always a Carlos Spencer 😀

You've done it again. Being really good doesn't automatically make you a piston wristed gibbon.

Well, I didn’t say he was a piston wristed gibbon, just implied he was an arrogant guy, as per the stereotype. But yes, a very good player, freakishly skilled. IMO, would have been a long lived AB great if he’d had less of that streak in him.

Now you really have jumped the shark, or you're imagining a world without Mehrtens and more importantly, another average player called Dan.

What I like about Bones is I can picture him typing all this with the same face as his avatar.

You know Wilkinson can come across as arrogant to those not bathed in white? 😉

I was hoping that S5 would end a little differently but this season was still an enjoyable watch. Sam Spruell was great.

Quite enjoyed it. Sam Spruell was indeed great. And while, for some reason, I was expecting the finale to be a showdown between the 4-ish different forces... I was pleasantly surprised by the method taken to actual conclusions to each animosity.

    Traitors ... UK Reality Show.

Now reality shows are not my bag at all. Quite the opposite.

But this one is fucking awesome. Nobody knows what's going on, except the viewers. And as they try and figure it out and accuse each other, people lose their shit. Its brilliant! It's got everything, Talent, morons, annoying pricks, woke people, anti woke, and they all just end up crying whilst the 3 traitors act like they are a part of it, when they are causing it.

Maybe this is what Big Brother was all about and it took me 30 years to join the party.
