What has the GOSPEL of John got to do with what the JEWS believe?
Not Jews. Zionists. whether claiming to be Christain or Jew. Or no religion whatsoever
For example, people who beleive the Hebrew bible (a made-up story with a jealous, horrible God) gives Jews a right to take land and kill the Palestinian's as they are the descendants of Amalek. Pure madness but that is what many beleive it seems. Including the current leader of Israel.
And the Islamists whose beliefs are also rooted in the same "jealous, horrible God", but with a nasty, horrific Prophet?

Zionists - people who believe in a homeland for Jews; the State of Israel.
It doesn't take a genius to work out what the Hamas definition of Palestine as an 'Arab Islamic land' extending 'from the River Jordan in the east to the Mediterranean in the west and from Ras Al-Naqurah in the north to Umm Al-Rashrash in the south' means for "Zionism".

“one isn’t born into a religion.”
Isn't the UK royalty born Anglican/Church of England? If not can I be the head of the Church of England?
I think the question is problematic, religion isn't usually defined as what it isn't, it is very hard to define precisely.
Nor does race have to mean skin colour (and we probably need a new word for race, biologists don't think it is a thing, and it is also hard to define).

Except their latest charter states otherwise. As you well know.
.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Hamas_charter/2Oh look, you posted a deal link.......but here's a real live one for you -->link
"In a Friday, April 7, 2023 sermon in Rafah, Gaza, Hamas official Sheikh Dr. Hamad Al-Regeb prayed for Allah to bring annihilation and paralysis upon the Jews and to "enable" the Muslims to "get to" the Jews’ necks. He said that the Jews are "filthy animals" and "brothers of apes and pigs" who spread corruption, injustice, and evil at the Al-Aqsa Mosque."
So Hamas really don't want to kill Jews for being Jews, they just want Allah to do it for them.

An official. Not the charter
And Israel. Their big Chief wants to use his bible to justify a genocide. And is following through with actions to achieve this. With weapons supplied by the West.
And just to be clear I'm no supporter of Hamas. My view is the leaders (of Israel and Hamas) now all belong to the same force. A force that thrives on death, destruction and hate. They have both embraced the dark side.
Here's a little about Rafah.
Rafah (Arabic: رفح Rafaḥ [rafaħ]; Hebrew: רָפִיחַ Rafiaḥ [ʁaˈfi.aχ]) is a Palestinian city in the southern Gaza Strip; it is the capital of the Rafah Governorate of the State of Palestine, located 30 kilometers (19 mi) south-west of Gaza City. In 2017, Rafah had a population of 171,889.[2] As a result of massive bombardment and ground assaults in Gaza City and Khan Yunis by Israel, about 1 million people are believed to be sheltering in Rafah.[3]
When Israel withdrew from the Sinai in 1982, Rafah was split into a Gazan part and an Egyptian part, dividing families, separated by barbed-wire barriers.[4][5] The core of the city was destroyed by Israel[6][7][8] and Egypt[9][10] to create a large buffer zone.
Rafah is the site of the Rafah Border Crossing, the sole crossing point between Egypt and the State of Palestine. Gaza's only airport, Yasser Arafat International Airport, was located just south of the city. The airport operated from 1998 to 2001, until it was bombed and bulldozed by the Israeli military (IDF) after the killing of Israeli soldiers by members of Hamas.

You are right. They now only want to slaughter Jews who believe Israel has a right to exist. For some weird and unfathomable reason, Hamas are OK with non-Jewish people believing Israel has a right to exist and it's only the Jewish ones they are concerned about. Can't think why.

Reported that an Aussie aid worker died in a car with other aid workers. No doubt Albo will hit the Israeli ambassador with a wet bus ticket.
-
@NTA As sad as it is, it's inevitable that aid workers will be collateral damage in a built environment. Hopefully they weren't actually targeted, not that it would provide friends and family with much comfort.
I don't know what else Albo's government is going to do when they're already transporting Palestinians here and funding NGOs with links to Hamas.
I see that repugnant little fluffybunny Bandt is calling for a permanent ceasefire. It's almost as if he hasn't been paying attention.

So, Iran has their consulate / Embassy destroyed and they must not do anything. Just take the hits and deaths. If they retaliate, Iran I assume will have started the war.
The West is like a bully who punches and destroys and provokes but then points the finger when anyone responds.

its mad how people in power make such obvious, IMO, mistakes....there was so much bad press after the attacks...Israel could legit play the victim...and theyve come straight out as if too prove they can be just as bad

They are trying hard but this card isn't working anymore.
My fear is the US could set off WW3. The crazy prowar Neocons seems to be totally in control in the US. They are now prodding Iran. And Russia. And China. It's total madness. But one theory is the crazy out of control, spending is about to bring the whole system down. So Western leaders want distraction. To save themselves and keep the money flowing as long as possible.
