The men were terrible and their lack of speed was evident with the veterans playing. Cama isn't there so we can't blame him for the selections.

The women looked slick without some key players (e.g., Miller, Waaka).

    NZ narrowly beat Ireland 19-14

It clashed with the Blues game.. anyone see this one? An improvement? Same issues?

NZ were a little better but conceding a try in added time could come back to bite them. They will need to beat GB, who beat SA, to progress.

I am finding the format and coverage very frustrating. Each competition is so drawn out if you are just following some teams. And the luck of the draw plays a huge part now, especially with the best 3rd places.
NZ seems to have lost a whole lot of combination and continuity. Relies far too much on Rokolisoa brilliance and efforts of Dickson. I am disappointed we are not seeing better from Cody Vai, Che Clark and Brady Rush. To me the starting lineup selections seem quite odd. But I guess we qualified top and now face Fiji.

Just watched the second half of USA v GBR quarter final. GBR were dreadful - looked like they'd met in the carpark.

The AB 7s hold on to beat Fiji 21-19 in the QF.

Edit: Will play France in the SF at 10:07 am.

Samoa were unlucky not to beat Arg in their QF (lost 14-12).
