My Grandma loved him. Only thing I really know about the bloke was the Fred Dagg description of something unusual happening: "it stood out like a moment of fun at a Frank Ifield concert"...

Veering off topic perhaps but I wonder what old mate Don thinks ?

70-year-old Don Gorske extends record after eating 34,000th Big Mac

Yeah I’m not sure a Maccas burger is really THAT bad, it’s the fries and sugary drinks that don’t help.

When I used to travel more for work I’d occasionally binge a truckload of Ronald’s finest. Like anything in life it’s moderation. I remember the Supersize movie and thinking even a month of solid Maccas wouldn’t mess someone up that badly. 25 pounds in a single month is a heap of weight.

This is not cool. Sounds like the black dog claims another victim

NZ jazz legend Rodger Fox dies aged 71

Rodger Fox - whose name has been synonymous with big band jazz in New Zealand - has died, aged 71.

Probably not a name that familiar but Rodger Fox influenced and mentored so many NZ artists, not just in jazz but across many genres.

Great in concert. Full of energy but unassuming - loved promoting others. Big loss
